LEAGUE
EDSTREME
WHO ARE WE?
League Edstreme is an independent, FA-affiliated, 7-a-side football league for over-30s held on Wednesday nights at Priory School in Portsmouth.
Founded in 2009 by Sean Reading, the league honors his brother Ed, who passed away in July 2007 from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome during a football match.
Alongside its voluntary charity partner, Team Edstreme (co-run by Sean Reading and Phil George), the organisation has raised nearly £50,000 for various charities. Following a hiatus, Sean brought the league back in 2026 to continue its mission of providing a safe, competitive playing environment while raising vital charitable funds.
